Saltier Politics: Co-hosts Julie Roginsky and Emily DeCiccio get salty in the first episode back for 2020. Julie updates listeners on her 'Lift Our Voices' organization to end the use of nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) that hide cases of harassment and discrimination. Emily talks about some of the big interviews she did this week on subjects including Iran and LGBTQ rights. Julie and Emily discuss how the escalating tensions with Iran could benefit Russia, Saudi Arabia, and those with money in defense stocks. Julie and Emily dive into what's making them salty, but also add a little bit of sugar into the mix and reveal what they are looking forward to this year. Don't forget to bring your saltshaker!

Happy New Year you salty ladies! Right from the start we felt Trump would get us into a war. He was awarding defense contracts and his administration loaded up on defense stocks. Although I expected it. more when Bolton was there. When he left, I figured it might not be a concern. But all of a sudden Trump went and created a problem and then takes credit for diffusing a situation that he created. Now I think Trump did it as a favor to Bolton so he'll keep his mouth shut during the impeachment trial. Oh and all of a sudden Trump is talking NATO. Really? He always hated NATO because Putin wants it broken up. it feels like the whole thing is being produced by Mark Burnett like it's Wag the Dog 2.0.
