Former Assistant Secretary of State Joel Rubin gets salty with co-hosts Julie Roginsky and Emily DeCiccio. Rubin gets into the politics of Israel, Iran, and Russia. He offers streamlined insights and explains the implications of the Trump Administration's actions when it comes to the Iran Nuclear Deal. He also delves into rhetoric when it comes to Israel and the necessary steps to fighting Russian cyber threats. Unrelated, but interesting: Can you guess which individuals in the political trio have bungee jumped and what they were thinking while they did it? Rubin, Roginsky, and DeCiccio boil seemingly complicated topics into an approachable dialogue that you can use to keep the conversation going in your own salty circle. Don't forget to bring your saltshaker!

Really enjoyed the podcast. Again great insight from a guest who knows how things should be under a normal president and how dire things are now. Rubin's comment that the U.S. is the wingman to a dictator was right on target. We need allies, but not the ones that are being cultivated. Too many foreign powers have their hands in our government. Russia, Israel and Saudi Arabia have too much say. He had great insight on state department issues. I wish guests could tell us how to save things, even if just spitballing ideas. Too much damage can be done in the next year and a half. I'm hoping someone at the Southern District of NY has the balls to arrest and indict this mad man. They often operate by their own rules. Continue to love 2 truths and a lie. it's like the curtain comes down and you get to their human side. Keep up the good work. Great quality podcast.
