Saltier Politics: Co-hosts Julie Roginsky and Emily DeCiccio get salty this week as Julie announces her 'Lift Our Voices' organization that she co-founded with former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson. 'Lift Our Voices' is more than an organization, it's a movement to end the use of nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) that hide cases of harassment and discrimination. Julie discusses her call for equality in the workplace and her hope to help foster environments where all employees can speak up without the fear of retaliation. Text LIFT to 797979 to join. Julie and Emily also discuss the latest headlines and dive into what's making them salty. Learn why Julie's salty with Jared Kushner and why Emily may NOT be salty over something that everyone else seems to be salty about. (Hint: Peloton) You're not going to want to miss this episode and you will definitely not want to forget to bring your saltshaker!

Congratulations Julie on "Lift our Voices." I've commented previously that hopefully the tide is turning on the NDAs and your push will hopefully make a difference. It is amazing that the guilty parties often move on and make money and the women have their careers trashed. Wrong on so many levels. Any chance that Grechen will come on the podcast to further the push? I am also a Sofia Bush fan. I never saw One Tree Hill, but became a fan on Chicago PD. No wonder she is an activist having left the show due to it being a toxic environment. I know she has a new deal for a show where she will be a CIA agent. Looking forward to that. Love Emily's idea of bringing the women who were wronged brought together for a news or talk show. Maybe WE or OWN will take on that project. I really appreciate Julie's explanation on the details behind identifying Jewish as a nationality. It is right out of the Putin's playbook. No surprise where the Trump administration got the idea. Liked the shout out to Maggie Haberman. Enjoyed watching her work and be profiled in the series "The Fourth Estate." She is terrific. I also liked the Peloton commercial and know many women like Emily who were not offended. Then my wife told me I was wrong.
